i just realized -- speed racer? these are the freakin wachowski brothers -- the guys who brought us the bible, er matrix!

if american studios want to bring anime to the big screen as live-action movies, SPEED RACER IS NOT THE ONE! whose freaking idea was this? i want their job -- i'm serious, i want that person's job -- the person who said "yeah -- i think that'll sell." I KNOW I CAN PICK MOVIES BETTER THAN THAT PERSON. if for some reason that person's boss reads this, please -- contact me and ask me what to produce next -- if it doesn't make 4x production, i'll quietly step down. the first one is a freebie.
