don't comment here often, but i just had quite an argument about such an issue.
society is working towards it's downfall. people are still blinded by the absurd belief that society can be made better by sepertion. class and minority seperation in this nation is akin to apartheid, judging by the fact that we still ignore the socioeconomic gap and allow it to grow bigger.
community as defined today is directed at seperating based on status and color/ethnicity. it's ridic.
sorry, i felt the need to vent. i'm so pissed at ignorance towards society and the definition of "values"

he its chris aight i gota take u guys to town ;) my first point is with military spending. If we are to be taxed for Anything, it should be defence. Realize that under bush and with an increased military, there has not been another terrorist attack. We already are a walk in the park for terrorists, liek the mexican border. That needs to be closed, permanately. We continually let our enemies and the scum of other nations just seep into this nation, and society is paying for it. Now to transition to the seperation point greg brought up, i feel this is a natural and healthy seperation of the haves and the have-nots. in a society, there will always be scum that will sap the nutrients from a productive populus. Its liek the american beuty rose from Rockefeller (greg ull no this ) in order to keep the rose beutiful, we must trim the dead and barren leaves so they dont suck all the nutrients. Same as weeding a garden. All socialist programs do is let these weeds grow, and in some cases encourage it. Whats great about free market capitalism is that it is your own modivation taht drives your sucess. If these people are not willing to get up off thier asses and work, they should not be given their food from Our tax dollars. Same goes for HUD housing. Take this : give a kid a christmas gift, and within 2 weeks the gift is forgotten or broken. Make that kid Work for that gift, and he appreciated it FAR more. by giving these people everything they need to survive, we continue the cycle of the ghettos. thats wy the projects will ALWAYS be the projects. just because your in america, you shodl not be guarenteed life. Life is a Privelage, and if you arent going to work for it you dont deserve it. we need to cut the ambilical cord from these people and let them taste responsibility. and as far as racial seperation and that junk, again its all about the responsibility factor. Black people, ill use them as an example, have become so dependent on the white mans help that they will never break away from teh slavery mentality. its been over a hundred years since the slaves have been freed by a great Republican Lincoln, but why havnet they reached the same status as whites or asians? Realize asians were BANNED from coming into america around the 20-30's (greg i might be slightly off) , and in the 20's the irish had FAR greater hurdles to climb. As with the italians in the 40's. But because theese people either had to bust their ass or starve, they took responsibility and worked, leading to eventual assimilation. if we stop treating the black race with special privledges because we "feel sorry for them" , then and only then will they actally fully assimilate. To NOT seperate is to bring every person to the same level of scum that the lowest reside at. Again teh absolute godliness of a free market economy over socailism (sorry mr. mora lol). And as far as values go, this country is absolutely destroying itself due to its lack of responsibility and consequences. Good example : mr mora if U would have failed me for the quareter once u knew i cheated, would i have done it again? and if i cared so little that u did fail me again, then that will only hurt me. WE allow so much crap to get away in this country because there is no disipline. Were becoming a bunch of softies. Take death row, we should be putting up a speed lane for it. If you are tried guilty, you shoudl be excecuted THAT day and set an example to others. Good ex: in turkey, 4 hijackers jacked a plane midflight. When it landed, police slit their throuts right there. How many hijackings u think Turkey has? We need a serious shot of tough love,or this generation is going to become worse than the free love, pot smoking, hippie peices of trash that we had to suffer through in the 60's. To believe in the Liberal Great Society is absolute rediculous, as its so easy to take advantage of as wellas slows down the progress of the elite by having to drag along the scum. I hope to god we re embody the american beuty rose and hand out a serious dose of tough love soon, or well go the way of europe. (there now fighting a huge muslim crisis, as theyve let SO many in that now the muslims will get angry if they dont have everyting their way. GOodbye white people in france).
